I loved everything here! The cookies are really good, we got all 3 kinds chocolate chip, sugar, and the silo ( chocolate and peanut butter chips). I also got "the classic" a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting...delicious! I love the packaging too...makes it special. They were busy but that is to be expected! They do have umbrellas you can stand under and a large tent to keep the sun off while you wait.
Quick visit to Waco and had to stop by the bakery. I tried the classic chocolate and the nuts and bolts cupcake. The cupcakes lived up to expectations. They were a good size with proportionate icing and were light and fluffy. The cupcakes were really tasty.
I was there around 7:20 am and was out by 8:10. The wait was not bad. We all had cards to fill out of our order before we got in. Once inside I was greeted by the Fabulous Sham Sham(Shamika). She is a beacon of light to your guests and her smile is contagious! I got all the cupcakes! They are all awesome.
Stopped in Waco so of course we had to check out Magnolia and the Silos. My wife and I decided to get two cupcakes before lunch. We got the Cup O Jo and the Campfire Smores cupcake. I know there is a lot of hype around this place, but that was probably the best cupcakes I've had in years. Both cupcakes were soft, freshly baked, and each had great flavor. Also, the people working in the bakery we're really nice and friendly as well considering the number of people coming through there. On busy days the line is really long, but the cupcakes are worth the wait.
We went to Silos on a girls trip from Florida and we all ordered something different and everything we tasted was different, tasty and moist! It was totally worth the wait, not only that the staff was super friendly and you can tell they enjoy their job! I also loved the lemon water they sold, they had two kinds so we tried those too. We loved that we were able to visit and the atmosphere did not disappoint!
