Advice: Don't act like D's Mediterranean isn't a short 5 minute drive away with better, cheaper food.
I called in an order for 2 salads at 2:30pm, the slowest part of the day I'm sure because there was 2 customers inside. Went to pick it up and I stood at the counter for 10 minutes and not a single person came up to ask if I've been helped, though they walked by me the entire time, making eye contact and finding other things to do. One lady was so bold that she stood directly in front of the counter with her back turned to me playing with the coffee machine and when I said "excuse me," she walked away. Did I accidentally call in my order to a parallel universe where customers take their own cash, hand themselves their food, and tell themselves to have a nice day?
Good food and quick service. Visited this place twice while in Waco on business. The first time I visited was for lunch and I had the Pork Gyro and a cup of vegetarian soup. Gyro was excellent and soup was delicious. I would rate this visit as a 5 Star visit. My second time was for dinner a couple of days later and I once again had the Pork Gyro but this time had the pasta salad. The meat in the Gyro was mostly crispy and somewhat burnt and dry. Not enough to go complain but not nearly as tasty as my first visit. The pasta salad had way too many olives chopped up and incorporated into the pasta salad itself. Not to my liking. I would rate this visit as a 3 Star visit. As I combine the 2 visits I rate this place as a 4.
Food is really good, however, it wasn’t what I was expecting. I️ love gyros so that’s what I️ got. The meat isn’t what you’d expect, it is shredded and kind of dry. There is also no tsaziki sauce on it like I️ was expecting. Like I️ said, the food was really good, just not exactly what I️ was expecting when I️ ordered it.
Left without my salad, a hungry tummy, and a bad taste in my mouth. Won't be going back.
What a Wonderful experience from start to finish. Gorgeous venue with area for outdoor dining as well. Great staff. It was my first adventure with Greek cuisine. They patiently answered all my questions and even made suggestions for items that would be ok with my weird food allergy. Will definitely go back soon!!
I'm not usually excited about Greek food (I usually find it flavorless), but the lamb gyros here were the best I've ever had. No exaggeration. The service was great! It took them longer to prepare one of my items than the expected, so they ended up giving me the item for free along with a pastry! I will go here again the next time I'm in Waco.
