I reserved this hotel expecting a no-frills budget hotel. The price was right, and all I needed was a bed and a shower. This hotel is the most disgusting, putrid, nasty place I have ever stayed. I have stayed in 3rd-world 1-star hotels that were cleaner. The stench almost made me pass out when I opened the lobby door. I had to sleep in the bed with my cloths on. All the negative reviews about the terrible customer service are true also.
My husband checked in on 8/19/17 was told to check out our Continental breakfast in the morning. He asked for late check out and was told absolutely not. He went to front desk after returning from work about 130 am and asked when breakfasts starts and was told no breakfast if you want something get it out of vending machine. He went to his room and at 930 am someone was beating on his door asking if he was checking out today or not! So he got up got ready and left.
I called at 7:30 PM before I got to town and made a reservation. Gave them my card number to hold the room and everything. I informed them that I would be coming into town very late and they informed me that that would be no problem. When I arrived the front office was completely shut down and I had to use a phone in the hallway to get someone to the front. None of this would have been an issue if the lady with a headwrap who came to the front office wasn’t the rudest person I’ve ever met. She arrived to the front office barefoot, constantly sighing obviously upset that she had to help a customer, and showed no courtesy at all. I went to hand her my card to pay for the room and she looked at me like I was crazy and rudely asked for my name. When I gave her it she told me that I did not have a reservation. When I told her that I called at 7:30 to reserve a room she said “well it’s not here so what do you want me to do?” She changed her attitude very quickly whenever I informed her that I would be finding another place to stay. Repeatedly saying “I mean we can get you a room that’s not a problem” I will never attempt to stay here again.
The bed is nice and parking is adequate. I found room for my bus. There is a kitchenette, but no utensils, no pots, no dishes, no silverware. There are also no hangers, no iron, no ironing board, nope little plastic laundry bag, and no blow dryer in case you wish to dry your hair. That was a little sad. It looks like a really nice hotel from the outside but even though the price is reasonable the Wi-Fi is not free. If these things are important to you stay somewhere else.
I called hotel spoke someone who said she was manager "Brandy" I told her everything that happened and her response was read the fine print on your reservation it tells you no breakfast and is on door as well & it tells you someone will be by to be sure your checking out that day before 11. I asked for GM was told new one comes in tomorrow and don't know his name. I asked that he call me and refund be issued to my husband's card immediately and she laughed and said you didn't read fine print no refunds.
What a horrible way to run a business. I certainly hope the GM or owner calls me like requested.
I stayed here for 1 day and 2 nights. This is by far the nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. For one me and my family had roaches in the hotel. Noticed I used the plural, ROACHES! There was 2 in my room and one in my sister's room. My cousins even dealt with roaches. The room smelled horrid. The heater is a fire hazard because it smelt like smoke when turned on. The front desk woman with the head wrap was rude. Speaking of the front desk it's supposed to be 24 hours...thats a lie. This place is gross ....don't do it.
