Was what I expected from a motel stay. Spent five nights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Warm breakfast was good for me. Nothing elaborate, but saved me from having to stop somewhere. Bathroom tub faucet would not shut off completely, so it dripped constantly and the faucet on the sink was loose and moved around a little when you used it.
I stayed here on 9/23/17, checked in around 11PM, first off I walked into my room and it was so hot! The air condition was off, I called the front desk and the women, Ana, stated they leave their air conditions off. It took forever to cool the room. Around 1:30 in the morning, someone was trying to get into my room by using a key card, a family was booked to the same room # I had! The last thing that happened at my stay in Waco at the Days Inn, the Hotel charged me three times for my room! I checked my bank account Sunday morning, and saw I was charged $103 and some change three times. I called the front desk, Peggy, the women that answered gave me the worse customer service ever, she stated she wasn't the one who charged my card, which didn't make it her fault. She hung up on me twice, she didn't want to give me her name, said I had to wait till Monday to get this resolved with the manager Margie Mendoza. It was such a huge hassle. I will never stay there again, such a disappointment.
Bed was great and I rarely say that about a hotel. Location was awesome: ttaveling to Houston anyway. Ashttays in the non-smoking rooms??? No smell though. Small bathroom but nothing unusual. 1 pillow case was suspect and should not have been in service really. Overall very pleased. Was quiet even though not far off the highway.
Well the first thing was the drain plug in the sink was broken. Not good for people who wear contacts! Then, there's an ironing board and no iron, so had to go down and get an iron. Then, got back and saw we only had 2 towels and there were 4 of us, had to go back for those. FYI check everything before you get comfortable! The biggest issue was it was 100 degrees outside that day we got into our room and you could feel the heat coming out!! It took our room probably a good 2 hours to make it bearable! They should at least run the thing on low to keep it a little cool so it doesn't take so long!
Basically a truck stop. Good for short overnights. Place is pretty run down. Pool not safe. Electrical outlets loose in the room.
