Including Magnolia, the Homestead is a must see while in Waco. Be prepared to spend 3 to 4 leisurely hours touring this beautiful self sustained community.
Very nice place. We had a great meal at the cafe although it was a bit expensive for 6 people. It was cool to see and hear how they are self-sufficient in most things they do. We did not get to visit everything so we would go back and visit again.
Nice place for an adventure! When you turn in off the road you will find a little grocery store basically with fresh baked goods and another feed store type building. These are both fun to visit but if you'll follow the road down along side it there's a little village where you can see people making all the items and a restaurant. We had a great time visiting with everyone who worked there.
This is a beautiful serene place to visit. The exhibit shops are educational as well as entertaining, and the food is very good! Nice way to spend a few hours!
Love coming here even though its almost 2 hours away. Great community full of good people here. Some of the nicest people me and my wife have ever met. And most of all the things they create that can add so much value to your daily lives is beyond amazing and inspiring. Very rare and unique what they have going here. Their children are really lucky to grow up in such a community. Good times here
