Nice venue around back. High quality sound with heavy, deep bass. Well tuned system with no hearing loss or ringing after the show. Sadly that seems to be rare these days. Would enjoy returning!
Went to the Magnolia Market on vacation in Waco, Common Grounds has a food truck there. Long line was understandable, and the cowboy coffee was fantastic, but I ordered a caramel cappuccino for my mom and asked them to put only one pump of caramel syrup so it wouldn't be too sweet for her, they ignored me. We ended up having to mix ours together to make hers less sweet, and I HATE caramel!!
Cool place. College crowd and extra coffee shoppy. Cool chairs and places to study. My wife dragged me here to complete her Joanna Gaines fix. My wife got the Cowboy Coffee and said it was a bit sweet for her taste, but got something else and loved it.
Other than it being super-packed with college students 24/7, I really enjoy the atmosphere here. The beverages are also very tasty and I love the outdoor patio. I have not gone to a concert here yet, but the stage looks cool with the outdoor lighting. Would recommend to people who want to hang-out and chat over some good coffee or even some Mexican hot chocolate which is my favorite!
I love this place! It's a good study spot and they have great drinks. My personal favorite is the Mexican hot chocolate. The ambiance is chill and their music is unique (huge fan of "way-back-Wednesday). The wifi is sometimes slow because it is a popular spot in Waco and it can get busy. Overall, love love love CG, it's a Waco treasure.
