This place was quaint and welcoming. The staff was genuinely happy to serve and pleased to see us. The food was prepared fresh and served hot. They only serve breakfast on Saturdays. When our server saw my Mom and Dad looking at the breakfast menu she told us about the limited breakfast hours and then proceeded to accommodate them anyway. I was overly impressed by this above beyond level of customer service. What's more, there was never a sense of being put out.
Fresh, tasty and unique food. We ordered the cheese appetizer with grapes which everyone enjoyed. I had their special Mexican salad which had pumpkins seeds and a Mexican caesar dressing which made it pop. I paired it with jalapeno sweet potatoes soup with fresh baked rolls and peach tea. It was the perfect combination and I left full and satisfied. The staff was polite and prompt. I would definately come back.
Friendly staff. Very clean prep area (in full view if you dine at the counter). Tasty food. Limited vegetarian options. The cheese is not vegetarian, but made locally.
Love it here! Quiet, no rush service and great food (albeit, limited menu). We just keep going back!
My son and I ate breakfast there this morning. It was wonderful. We both got their grilled chicken omelet and it was very tasty. It included hash browns and buttered whole wheat toast. I certainly don't consider myself a connoisseur of coffee but it was exceptional. This place is by far my favorite in Waco.
