And our server, David asked me what was wrong with it I told him it was really greasy and fatty and he smart mouthed me and said that’s what bacon is fat grabbed the cup and walked off.
I had the Potato and cheese soup and the bacon on it was disgusting !!! I had it sent back three times so I ended up having to eat it without the bacon. It was stringy and greasy and 90% fat.
The fourth time it was even more disgusting
They do have a good manager named Mike that took care of our bill since there were so many issues.
The second time it turned out it wasn’t the same bacon as on the salad so I had to send it back
On the other hand David complained to us about how he didn’t like his job their and was only there as a side gig. And told us that he wasn’t even gonna mention all the things that went on there that he didn’t approve of.
The atmosphere was quite nice and cozy... and the server was Amazing! She really made us feel welcome, listened to our stories, and shared some of her stories with us. She took care of us, everything was prompt and accurate. This visit was our first, but most definitely won't be our last. The food was also excellent. I got the pot roast and it was very tender smothered in a rich brown gravy with potatoes and carrots; and my mom got the salmon... she let me try it and it was really good, juicy with a delightful blend of herbs and spices. Friends took us here, and after we ate, we stayed at the table for a good long while just chatting and we were not pressured in any way to hustle up or leave... just the opposite, the drink refills just kept a coming!
The third time it was all one piece of bacon
I just had the worst Cotton Patch experience we ordered three meals. The soups came out cold, as well as the sides.
Food was delicious and staff members friendly. Our waiter was Juan, was very friendly, attentive. After our meal, he asked if we wanted our drinks in to go cups since we were traveling through and stopped to eat. He gave us very good service.
Pretty good veggie platter. Baked squash was really sweet, black eyed peas & green beans very good. Excellent service.
The General Manager called and was extremely nice. He said he would have a meeting with the managers and waiter. The GM was very professional, and acted as someone in the hospitality field should act. After his call, we have decided we will return, I love the vegetables, and my grandson loves the chicken fried steak. I just hope their managers learn from the GM how to be professional.
Horrible. My daughter, me and my grandson went in for lunch. My daughter ordered soup and half a sandwich, I ordered a vegetable plate. Another server brought my daughters food out, mine I never saw. I had to track the waiter down to find out where my order was. Apologized, but then had to come back and ask what I had order, are you serious? It was another 15 minutes before I got my order, my daughter was nearly done by the time my grandson and I finally received our food. Needless to say we won't be back. Called the manager and he was not too worried just said he would talk to the server. Terrible customer service. UPDATE:
The first time I sent it back we saw the food runner laugh about it to the kitchen.
