Dropped my boxer off to find out why he was vomiting after he ate. Dropped him off Friday morning. Said they wanted a $250 deposit. They never called me to give me an update, I had to call at 5:30 Friday afternoon for them to tell me, oh yeah we want to keep him over night. OK? Saturday morning comes, no update. I call around 11 am. Oh yeah he is ready to go home anytime. He never vomited so we are just going to give him some antibiotics. OK? How much? $150. Wife goes to pick him up, walks out with a $650 bill. Granted, she did purchase 6 months of flea medicine valued at $150. So $500 from $150, just for them to tell me he never vomited and here are some antibiotics. Never called to update me, kept him for no reason just to charge me more money. Crooks . Never again, save yourself some money and find another vet.
I grew up in Waco, and lived in a household with three dogs. We have been bringing our family pets here for as long as I can remember. Even after I moved out on my own, I bring my cat and our new family dog here.
The staff is very professional and helpful, and will always tell you all options. Dr. Lu Ann is quick to recognize any health issues concerning your pets, and knows exactly what to do to make things better. Today I took my cat in for a rabies shot, and learned she also had ear mites. The treatments and plans are highly affordable as well - I walked out with a minimal bill after a rabies treatment and unexpected ear mite treatment.
Even though I am moving out of town, I will still be making the two hour trip to make sure my pet and any future pets are taken care of by the Texas Animal Medical Center.
My dog had a medical emergency. I called Texas Animal Medical Center and was told they were open and to bring my dog in. When we arrived an hour later there was no vet on site. We left and went to another emergency vet in Waco. The next day I called to report the incident to the office manager, who was nothing wrong with the situation. Would not recommend to anyone.
