Great views of the lake and peaceful. Has great hiking trails in the woods which can be especially challenging if riding a bike.
This place is Heaven when the weather is good!
This is a camping park with a beautiful lake view and a great place to fish. There is hot shower and toilet. The front entrance was closed when we arrived so we picked a campsite. (needs better signage) The camp host was a bit aggressive when he approached my buddy early in the morning. Long story short, I explained the situation and was able to get a break on a $40 camp since we didn't use anything. (Electric, water & grill).
Less than impressed with the gate attendants. Found my rented site filthy with trash from previous renters and was told maybe they forgot their stuff you can do whatever you want to do with it. Closes the window. Haven't seen them anywhere near the camp sites in the time I've been here.
Love it here, Excellent hiking trails , fantastic views of the lake , great place to swim for free and if you go at the right time , a spectacular sunset view.
It is a great family park and also a good park for running without a lot of traffic.
