Whent to buy a laptop cause mine was dieing. Stood around for 30 min. And still got no help. So I left. The guy standing up around the front door ask did I find everything and I told him about my experience and he said sorry have a nice day, then why the hell ask me. I think best buy has gotten to big and forgot who made them. I know I was not the only one that could not get help. Very disappointed.
I can’t believe it, I asked more than 7 associates for a analog phone adapter, and none knew what it was. In fact not even the “Geek” squad knew what an RJ11 and an RJ45 were .. It was so embarrassing that none tried to atleast do a little research or direct me to the right department so I can dig for the phone adapter myself, in fact I had to run all over the store to find an associate for help...
This is the nicest Best Buy I've stepped into in a long time. For starters, it doesn't feel like a pole barn, it's a carpeted store. The shelves are well stocked with MANY more items than a standard store. An example would be the unlocked cell phone selection. There had to be over 20 different phones available, not just 4 BLU phones. Each department was like this, with the exception of car audio. If you're looking for a good brick and mortar store to check out the latest and greatest, hit this one up!
If you do not know what a network cable is, you think I will trust you to tell me which computer would better serve my needs ?
I have called several times and been on hold forever each time. No one ever comes to the phone. I had to make a personal trip into town after trying to reach them by phone over several days, just to have a simple question answered. So frustrating! Edited 08/01/2017 I'm happy to say after a few conversations with management, Best Buy was able to resolve my technical issue by replacing a defective product.
Channing made our visit a great experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable! He fully understands the importance of providing excellent customer service which is a trait that is hard to find. Best Buy would do well to keep Channing on their team, he's an asset!
