I LOVE this place for beer, but the everyday food / snack selection is weak. Without the BBQ joint and freedom to bring a snack, I'd be all 5 stars all the way, as these people really know their beer. The patio is dog friendly, but if you don't like a good bit of cigarette smoke with your beer you'll almost certainly want to stay inside.

I come here weekly. They cycle through breweries every Thursday and you can keep the cup from the brewery if you show up at 6 on Thursdays. They have a trivia night on Tuesdays that's insanely difficult, definitely meant for the grad student crowd. There's always a food truck in the back patio serving food. The food truck closes around 8 most days. They'll bring the food into the bar to you if you want to sit inside. The interior is cozy and the staff are excited about beer and will offer up recommendations when asked. This pub got me interested in quality beer. 5/5 for turning me into a craft beer guy.
