The dive bar by Baylor to go to! Music and dancing on one side, chill and play pool on the other side. The drinks are cheaper than any other place so far.
Can't beat $3 imports on a Saturday! Basically, you walk in and there's a small size bar with pool tables to the right and a bigger open dance floor to the left and then an outdoor patio in the back. Definitely the place to meet someone if your single. But at least on Saturday they allowed over 18 yrs old in so if your wondering why the heck everyone looks mad young it's cause they are. lol I'm not against it though, gives them something to do and they seemed to be cracking down on making sure they weren't getting drinks. The place is kinda like a trap though. DJ playing all that new hood music which all the youngins know and the place has sharpie graffiti all over every inch of the place. My only suggestions: place more recognizable signs on the Men's and Women's restrooms. I kept seeing guys accidentally walking in there. Lol it was literally written in sharpie. So it kinda blends in.
And lastly, can anyone tell me what's up with women in Texas?? I dunno how you men do it, but girls down here are so clicky and try to play that ritzy, rich girl vibe. Come on y'all.. it's supposed to be Texas. Just have a good time and get out of your egos. Men and women included with that. Yolo!
I checked out the Backyard Bar and that seemed a lot more casual and hip and clean. I'd go there if your a couple. I also checked out the Truelove Bar and that's a real chill little bar with a down to earth vibe. They had karaoke.

Crazy packed on Saturday nights during school. You must get here early like 9:00 pm to avoid the rush and wait. Usually no charge unless you're a minor which it's only 5 bucks. A good place to catch the college crowd for a drink and some dancing. If the DJ is in music is good also. Can be hot due to the amount of people and no AC in the back area.
Just the right mix of hoodrat and ratchet. Drinks were cheap. There were some underage people there (X stamp on hand) which was a bit weird. Good for groups.
