I had a hamburger no side and it was pretty good. I tried some chips and salsa. The chips were thin and warm, which I love. The salsa was good but kind of bland and tasted kind of like tomatos. My sister got the loaded fries. Way too much cheese but they were good.
Visiting from out of town and decided to try this place.
There were seven in our party everyone ordered something different, there wasn't a bad dish. I ordered the wings best set of wings I've had in Waco so far, this being the third restaurant I ordered wings in. I ordered them extra crispy with hot sauce on the side, very accommodating to get your order right. I was pleasantly surprised with how large and open it was. something for everyone if you're wanting to play pool or just hang out with friends. Very lively environment and that was on a Tuesday night!
Server was friendly and everything came out on reasonable time.
I am from out of town and so I was trying to find a good place to get some food and beer while I was visiting. I started to search and after reading some of the reviews on here about Cricket I was skeptical. I didn't want to waste my evening at a bad joint. Let me tell you... you all are crazy!!! The burgers are amazing!!! The fries are bomb! The servers were great! Tonnnnns of beer! Get it together people. They know what they are doing! Great atmosphere!
My adult son and I came here after spending an hour at Spice Village. We wanted a good burger, to be cooled down by the a/c, and as it was only 5pm, hopefully be able to converse without yelling over music. It was warm walking in, so I asked the hostess to sit us where we'd feel the a/c and not right next to a speaker. It was like we couldn't have sat in a spot more opposite! The place was empty. I saw where an a/c vent was and told her that we'd prefer to sit there. As she handed menus to us, she, with force, stated,"I decide where people will sit!" Sooo bizarre. Out of the blue. No other conversation leading up to this. We sat for a minute staring at each other in shock and decided to go somewhere else.
We won't return. There are a myriad of restaurants in Waco: new ones every week. Restaurants cannot afford to treat customers poorly. We went to The Stone Hearth Cafe instead. It was a/c cool! We had great food and great conversation!
Great bar staff- brad Rebecca and Tracy were fantastic and so accommodating. They knew their beers and could recommend me whatever I wanted even when the keg was kicked. Loved them and will be back!
