On Sundays (1-6) & During lunch hours (11-2) Wed-Fri they offer a buffet style lunch where you choose 1,2, or 3 meat plates. The meat is prepared differently each day and is beef, chicken, or pork which comes with 2 or 3 sides. Except Fridays- they have Que Fry Fridays during lunch where the offer pork ribs, beef brisket, pork links, and Crispy Fried Catfish. This is the day I like to come! The fish is made is batches so it is guaranteed hot and fresh. They have wonderful Banana Pudding! Yum. You can order off of the menu on the weekdays after 2 and all day Saturday. They have salmon, pork chops, baked chicken... and the Mac N Cheese is also great. Go check them out for yourself. They are located a few blocks from my job so I go there quite often. The service is great! The prices are reasonable. And on Fri/Sat night there is live jazz!!
Love the they Greet you at the door, the give you just the right amount of food, and they keep your drink filled. But over all it's was great. I will be going back...
This restaurant is SO GOOD! Super yummy Soul Food, made with love. The staff and owner are amazing , food selections I have tried include smothered pork chops, meatloaf, the chili, the pork neck bones were SO GOOD!, cornbread, greens, cabbage, mashed potatoes, and black eyed peas. Desserts I have tried are the butter pound cake (eat it first and don't delay your gratification. The peach cobbler was super yummy. All the different menu choices I can not wait to continue to try. This is my new favorite restaurant. Excellent friendly staff and atmosphere.
Off the beaten path there is a small southern cafe that is well worth finding. The food is simply delish! There are usually several entrees to choose from as well as a variety of down home country vegetables. Oh yeah, don't get too full for desert. Although I found it a little pricey fot lunch the food is really good.
Edit: Since they have moved locations the new hours are 11-3 everyday.
