Horrible Horrible Horrible! Service, food and general manager! Ordered steaks were cold when they came out, probably sat in the window. They took them back threw them back on the grill and brought us the same steaks back out again. Now my medium rare steak is medium and the other steak is no longer medium it's well done. So sent them back and now they made us new steaks. Still were not good! The bill came out nothing taken off for our inconvenience. Oh nice experience for my nieces 18th birthday. Something for her memory book....
We usually love this place. We visit at least twice a month and have been coming here since it was down the highway and the owner cared about the customer. They weren't as busy as we've seen them but our waitress seldom came by to check on us. The fried stuffed peppers were so salty we couldn't eat them. The sweet potato was cooked so much that it had very little potato left in the skin. Sad to see that this once customer oriented restaurant has slipped. Don't think we'll be back for awhile.

Service was terribly slow at 3:30 in the afternoon on Saturday. (not exactly peak time). It took 45 minutes to get 2 glasses of wine. Out of Chevis scotch. Eventually had to walk over to the bar ourselves & bring drinks back to the dining room. We asked for silverware but the food came before we had utensils to eat it. Food was warm but not hot...good food; but overall we left frustrated!
I'm going to start out saying that we eat there when we get a chance for Friday night date night. I never really been disappointed but tonight I've decided I'm going to be finding a new Friday night spot. I was so disappointed it took forever to get our drinks we ordered and then we didn't even get to order our meal so we sat there a little bit longer waiting for him to come back we finally ordered and that took about another 50 minutes before we got to eat then I noticed there was something creamy and white on my steak so I stopped him as he was walking by and asked him what it was he said it was steak butter well I order the same thing every time and I've never seen that before. But then I took a bite of my steak and realized why I've never noticed it before because my steak was so cold it did not have a chance to melt. And one of the pieces that bit into I had to spit out the middle of it was even colder. So I try to get the server's attention and I couldn't we were already waiting an hour I was hungry so I went ahead and just ate the other part of the steak. I had to get home to my kids. I understand it was busy but when you pay that much for food you would think that you would get better service and a hot meal. He didn't even stop once to ask if we needed a refill on our drinks my husband was disappointed because he only got one alcohol beverage and he was planning on ordering another one. We did not see him around to ask for his service. Usually our server's there will stop and ask if everything's okay and if we need anything and give us refills. After we were done we didn't even want to ask for a manager we just wanted to get home. Now I wish I would have just stayed home and cooked. That way I would have got a hot meal and not wasted our money.
