This is the worst hospital ever they killed my dad. I have 6 family and friends whom have lost a loved one under providence hospitals care owned by Assension Health care. getting ready for a class action lawsuits
This was the worst hospital / ER visit I have ever been through. I was completely beyond going in the first place, but after almost 2 weeks of being in almost constant pain. Then with today being so very weak, dizzy, nauseated, & unable to even really stand up without feeling dizzy. I forced myself to go. I spent the whole afternoon/evening being in tears, but not to the point where I was unable to try to through ly explain every aspect of my situation etc.... But I was treated as if I was somehow undeserving of even being spoken to like an adult. I was repeatedly asked the same questions regarding why I was there, or even if I was able to determine where & when I was. I felt so insulted by this experience that I will Never go again to seek treatment even if I am officially dieing. And I will never be able to recommend this Hospital to anyone, even someone I don't particularly like.
I want to thank the caring staff on the 4th floor answer ICU for the way they went above and beyond in the care my mother, who was not the easiest to care for, during her stay at Providence this past week. They were very nice to all of us, and made us feel like honored guests. They responded quickly to calls and treated her with utmost respect. She was not eating and they would do special things to make sure she had things she could eat, that fell within the requirements of her prescribed diet, that she did like to help get her strength up. They were gracious to me by making me comfortable when I stayed at couple of nights with her in her room. Yes I would recommend Providence to anyone needing a hospital stay.
I️ only give it 2 stars because the nurses are really sweet and really good here ! But the doctor that I️ had refused to let me go and it is now 3 o clock in the afternoon and she hasn’t even showed up for more than a day. They have not given me a clear answer of what I️ have and I️ have just been sitting here taking antibiotics that I️ could just be doing at home. I️ feel fine to go home! The doctor told me straight to my face that this wasn’t a prison and I️ could leave but hasn’t released me. Really upset !
Desire Linch was working on 7/6/2017 at Providence on the 3rd floor and she was so caring to my friend while her grandpa was sick. She was very informative and kind. Hands down the best nurse I've ever seen at any hospital I've been to, and I've been to PLENTY. I can't thank her enough for making my friend and her family's bad week a little easier.
