• Fighting for a 'lifetime warranty' exchange while the guy next to me has manager override for a plant return from another company
Me: "As I stated I understand that, that's why I asked you to page the appropriate person..."
Ashley is the only one that knows what's going on and how things work and is extremely helpful at this facility
• Employees catching eye contact and running away
The Home Depot on Waco Dr. In Waco is not very friendly or helpful. The Home Depot in Bellmead is more friendly, but not really knowledgeable of what is in the store. Will not be returning to the one on Waco Dr.
• Sometimes being charged for wood cutting depending on the employee's mood (30 pieces of lumber with 3 cuts each and no charge, but charges for 2 cuts on 2 boards?)
• Not Listening!
The manager stopped respond to texts, voicemail, & only answered during 'meetings'.
I asked for the siding to be painted BEFORE installing the metal shroud over the AC lines, fuse panels, & cable lines/box. I made a point to explain why: I didn't want the paint ripping off my siding if any of it had to be removed in the future.
• Bad attitudes
SIDING
• The cable box was installed crooked with a large brush of blue paint down the middle.
I came to buy a 3/8 male flared plug and no one came to ask me if I needed any help and I stood over there for over 30 minutes. Now that guy at the cashier was very courteous and kind and put a smile on my face so that made the experience okay. And yes I will continue to shop there I like the store I like the guys who work there.

TILE

• Trim pieces have a wave on the bottom of siding color due to wavy paint lines.
• Paint drips had dried on multiple parts of the trim, garage door, and the AC fuse panels/metal shroud.
EMPLOYEES
Employee turns around and walks off. No joke. Someone eventually showed up, 15 minutes later.

A ticket was put in to repaint the garage door; there were apparently 'old' and 'new' color books, I was originally given the former.
• The cable lines were painted to the siding.
A 2nd crew was sent fix the issues but ended up causing more. The installer shorted out the upstairs AC unit because the 1st crew installed it so the wires rubbed on the metal panel.
• On a typical visit, I'm lucky to see more than 4 employees and 1 check out lane open.
I am very well pleased with the service that I received from the workers at home depot here in Waco on I35 in Bellmead Texas
Employee: irritated, rude voice without eye contact "Well I (drawn out for dramatic effect) don't do lumber cuts"
Me: "I see from your tag that you aren't in lumber, so would you mind paging the appropriate staff for lumber cuts?"
My order was processed improperly on 3 fronts with 2 different color tiles arriving. I was quoted install prices over $1,000 more than 3 local, reputable installers. Order cancelled.
• The AC fuse panels were installed crooked, CAULKED INTO PLACE in lieu of the original screws, and sloppily painted over, sealing them shut.
The siding was installed and painted well, I don't fear I'll have issues. I'm highly dissatisfied with the detail work considering the "special requests" were to NOT paint things.
• Complete lack of product knowledge
• Part of the siding had trim-colored paint splashed over it.
While hesitant, the deal offered and first-hand accounts were enough to sway me.
