This place is a joke.
I had scheduled an appointment to have a tooth pulled, I arrived 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork because they recommended you get there 15 minutes early, filled out the paperwork was still waiting to be seen 45 minutes after my appointment time.
I was fixing to leave when they finally called me to be seen, They took me back and got some x-rays and managed to burn my lips in the process, then I was sent to another waiting room where I had a long wait again.
I tell him I’m just here to get a tooth pulled and he tells me oh ok well you’ll need to schedule an appointment with front office for that this was just a free check up and consultation.
This is the best dentist I've been to! Hands down! They were quick and her considerate of my time but also very thorough! They answered all of my questions in a respectful manner. When it came down to payment they were extremely helpful and Daniel is so amazing!! I would definitely recommend this dentist office!!
Once I finally get to room and the dentist looks at the x-rays and started tell me about cavities I had and how I could get a bridge for a empty spot from a tooth that had been pulled years earlier.
Wasted 3.5 hours and had burnt lips for a week from the x-rays!
Would never recommend this place to anyone! Had to give 1 star to submit review! This place is a -1
Great team at Aspen Dental in Waco, TX. I was treated with care and kindness from beginning to end. Tiffaney and Edith made me feel right at home. That's hard to do with a nervous patient like myself. Thanks guys!! Y'all are truly the best!!
My experience at first was awesome. I did the check up, xrays, & credit application and estimated dental work up. Ended up having two teeth pulled. Dentist was a little ruff but the tech made me feel so comfortable it rounded it off. Due to a conflict in my schedule I couldn't make my next appointment. A week later I received a bill from the credit card for the entire dental estimate mind you NO work as been done at this point & I have great insurance from what Tiffany has explained. Cost of pulling should have been covered with maybe a small fee for me.

4/2017 ***Original Review*** Everyone seems very nice and willing to help, but the office staff at the Waco location does not know what they are doing. Edith, the one who does the cleanings is extremely nice and very good at what she does. Dr. Hussain is quick and effective. So it is disappointing to find that the office staff can not handle things on their end. They do not fully understand how the financing that they offer you works. They do not communicate effectively and they do not stand by what the say. I have repeatedly been told one thing, but upon arrival, they apologize for the fact that I was given wrong information. I highly recommend that you go elsewhere if you have other options. If you need them because of the financing option, just be sure that you check and double check everything that they tell you. Do not trust that because they seem sweet and knowledgeable that they are on top of things.Tiffany and Daniel have repeatedly given me misinformation that is now costing me money out of pocket because of mistakes and ignorance on their end.
The reason I tried Aspen Dental was because it was close to my work and my regular Dentist is 15 miles away and I had to take off work to go.
I come for my appointment and ask Tiffany was I supposed to get billed before receiving the service and she says no. I tell her I received a bill; she then gives me a song & dance that doesn't makes sense but she assures me she will submit a credit and I will be billed as I go. I am scheduled for surgery this day; I called the day before & asked if I needed a driver as surgery usually requires one. Never had dental surgery so....when being told no driver needed I was like great. When being preped for surgery I say to the tech....I can hardly believe I will be able to drive myself after this. He looks at me & says who told you that? I should have ran then ....but this was a surgery I thought I really needed. I get a driver and surgery is started. During surgery I have what is called a mild heart attack...I am observed for some time & released to my driver. This is a Friday...Monday I am thinking maybe you should see your PCP. Call and follow up done. Mind you NO WORD of concern from Aspen. A week later I received another now late bill from the credit card & a bill from Aspen for the surgery...which should have been covered by my insurance. Called Tiffany....she says she will send a email and another credit getting everything straighten out. Nothing has been corrected. The credit place says Aspen has to correct it. Tiffany is now always busy when I call & has NOT returned my calls. Called my insurance company the lady says the dentist NEVER submitted a review to see what we cover for you. And they are billing incorrectly. I asked how incorrectly she said we have explained that they must go through your primary insurance first. So now the credit place has referred my overdue bill; that I should not owe to collections. Aspen is billing me for the same services and my insurance company says the services are NOT covered which Tiffany assured me were. Tiffany comes off as caring and trust worthy but she does not mean any of the words rolling out of her mouth. Her intentions maybe good but her bottom line is getting her weekly, monthly, however it is done mighty dollar. Monday I am going BACK to a regular dental office NO more of these dental gangs for me!
7/21/2017 ***Follow-Up Review*** I would like to add a little something to this review. Since the original post I got in touch with the ones who responded to this post. Since then they have made every effort to make the situation right. I have returned to Aspen Dental and everything has gone very smoothly thus far. I am appreciative for their effort in correcting the situation. I am also extremely impressed with Tiffany and Daniel. Even after writing this post they have both been extremely helpful, professional and kind since I have returned. I apologize for any hurt feelings in writing the original post, but in doing so, I feel that it helped things get corrected, but also helped to ensure that nothing of the sort will happen with any one else. So, thank you Aspen Dental for your efforts in making things right. Also, thank you especially to Tiffany, for all of your effort. I really appreciate it.
