Off to a pretty bad start! I was supposed to be picked up at 8:30 from a body shop and after calling the store at 8:35 it goes straight to voicemail...
Rented a car to go out of state for our daughter's softball tournament. At first they were going to downgrade us from a full sized vehicle to a small Kia Soul. Frustrated, I called my husband (he was picking up the car), and had him let me speak with the salesperson. My husband returned home with an upgrade to a small SUV.
I wanted a mid size car but all they had was economy cars. The price was too high the car was not a good highway car. However the customer service was great I even got a ride home once I dropped the vehicle off.
Pleased with the customer service from this location.
Should be zero stars! Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever received. My insurance company State Farm was covering the rental since my vehicle was being repaired. When I went to turn in the rental I was told I owed $317 for THEIR optional insurance coverage. I said I did not need their insurance as mine covered any vehicle I drove including the rental and I never signed for their optional insurance coverage. And there was no damage to the rental. After I left THEY CHARGED THE $317 TO MY AMERICAN EXPRESS on file without my approval!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!!! Two girl office. Both very, very unethical!!!!
Sometimes you have to be polite but persistent in your request. We will be renting from them in the near future as she has other out of state tournaments.
Tanisha was extremely helpful and went out of her way to assist me, especially with questions after we had a flying pebble crack the window of the car during our trip. The four rating is only because when I called the toll-free Hertz number to inquire about adding a second driver, the rep didn't explain that the additional driver would need to have a debit or credit card to be added. We had to make a trip to another location (the airport!) later that evening to add the driver.
