We parked across the highway on a street behind the 7-Eleven. We walked to the stadium, it was nice and scenic. Plan to get there about an hour + early to give time for the walk and a little tailgating. Gates open 1 hour before the game. Fair warning: if you walk out the gate to smoke, you can't come back in.
As member of class of 2017, I consider myself very lucky that I participate the last Baylor Line of Floyd Casey and witness first Line of McLane Stadium. New stadium is great since it is within walking distance from campus and the environment is user-friendly. Beside the regular football game, the facility also hold other events such as worship night and movie night. I still remember during the Nochedeloso of my junior year they play The Force Awakens in stadium. It was good experience especially with friends.
WOW. This is an amazing stadium and big upgrade from Floyd Casey Stadium. Design and layout are beautiful. From inside the stadium, there is an awesome view of the bridge across the Brazos River and the University. The sound system is powerful. Restrooms all over with no wait. We had an amazing time at a Bears game with no wait getting in and out.
One of the nicest stadiums in college football, the architecture both inside and outside is really cool. There are a lot of nice areas within the stadium that go unseen on a normal Saturday gameday. Not a bad seat in the house.
The facilities are great. Great people flow getting in and out. Each level has plenty of restrooms and vendor stalls. The quality if the food items has decreased in the last year. Tailgating area is very well laid out and provisioned. Parking lots are a good walk from the stadium itself.
