Do I want to work with a firm whose owner harasses me to pay additional monies before the project is complete even though the contract THEY provided broke down the specifics of the payment schedule?

DO NOT PARTNER UP WITH THIS STORMER!!!! ...... 26% of the roofs they installed leaked, that's 26 leaking roofs out of 100 installed. In 6 months, after a large hail storm, the rag tag sales force they brought in managed to sell 100 roofs, which we can do easily, without a hail storm. They brought no crews and hired locally anyone long as they were breathing. Took their crews 3 - 5 days to install 22 squares, if they dhowed up! ... The owner Daron Farmer will try to cheat you out of your royalty payments, even if your always on him..... Four claims were filed on our bond from their work and now we are dealing with lawsuits as well. They leave and wash their hands of responsibility . They will ruin your business , DO NOT PARTNER UP WITH THIS STORMER!!! Owner Daron Farmer has very well rehearsed trite little explanations for everything to avoid taking responsibility (obviously he has many years of experience doing this with other "partners") .

Caveat Emptor.

Do not use this company. My roof is leaking severely, ruining the inside of my house and my siding is falling off only 1 year after they installed it. They will not return calls until you file a complaint and will not fix their work after 1 year, although they did claim it has a 30 year warranty when they did my contract, but it is a scam. They do not guarantee quality work, they say the warranty is only good if there is a recall on the shingles. I am extremely disappointed with this company and the customer care of Josh Helm and Daron Farmer who claim to be good Christian men. They do not guarantee their work. Very bad customer care and service.

Is it acceptable to me to have texture done where changes are made that is clearly NOT anywhere near a match to the existing texture?

They will not pay for legal fees brought on by their poor work, and it's plenty. We had a judgement for $5 K against us because they would not pay for attorneys they are obligated to pay for per partnership contract. Any lawsuits that arise from their work, they will not cover legal fees.

Do I want to work with a firm that uses its own crews to do everything... even though they are jacks-of-all-trades and masters-of-none?

Is it okay for the workers to use paper towels in the toilet in the half-bath I had (kindly) advised they were welcome to use but the foreman did not provide toilet paper when he was advised there was none? Fortunately, my plumber is MY plumber and was able to resolve the horrific mess for me.

How do I feel about a firm where the owner tells me a "suggested" flooring is used ALL of the time but the foreman of my particular job tells me his crew has never installed it before (resulting in several areas that are not properly adhered to the floor)?

Here are only a FEW of the many, many questions I recommend you ask yourself before you consider having TPE do any job for you:

Why would a professional firm ignore specific installation instructions from the manufacturer creating a need to open up a wall to redo it correctly... after over two weeks of pleas to have it done?

When they leave you will be responsible for servicing the warranties on their bad work for one year and you will be plenty busy . Guess what ? They will not pay you for most of the warranty work you do for them (which you have to, it's your company's name) & if they do it'll be far far less than the money you put into the repair, including interior damage, and if they actually pay you it will take countless calls & emails and several weeks before they reimburse you for the amount they see fit.

I hired Texas Professional Exteriors to repaint the interiors of my house, and remove that dreaded popcorn ceiling! They really do phenomenal work. They carefully taped everything off, covered my furniture and got to work. The workers were very nice.

TPE customer service is not very good! It seems to have the policy that once payment is made, the customer is forgotten!!! We had a $25,000.00 deal with TPE and once the final payment was made trying to get someone to come out and look into issues we had was next to impossible. Additionally, while the work was being do, the Project Manager was practically absent (maybe our deal wasn't big enough) and the lead was trying to take every short cut possible. I was constantly, overseeing the projects to ensure completeness! He left old plugs and switches in our new kitchen, he left several that had paint on them from when our new cabinet were painted, he failed to put a plug in for our new refrigerator, he didn't caulk around new trimming, honestly the list is to long to put in this review. I will think twice before using them again!!!

Am I okay with floor tiles next to each other that have a height difference sufficient to catch my shoe and nearly trip me... in multiple locations of the flooring?

All in all I would hire them again. They were pretty quick, even though they repainted every room.

Their sales people will eat deductibles and burn your reputation with insurance carriers and all social media, Google as well. You will be inundated with BBB complaints, our rating went from an A- to a D because of their work during our partnership .DO NOT PARTNER UP WITH THIS STORMER!!!

Quite honestly, I could go on and on. There are so many things that were simply done haphazardly. I'm not certain some of the things they did were okay for a non-licensed person to do (electrical, plumbing...). I know they did not bring in any true professionals on any of the work until I insisted my plumber become involved.
