We highly urge you not waste your money here at this place, unless you have money to throw away.
I had an absolute blast with my husband and a group of people who shared our escape room. I would do this again and again! The staff is awesome and very friendly and it's affordable fun! The only reason I am giving it a 4 star rating is because the bathroom was rather disgusting. There was feces on the toilet itself and a bug floating in the toilet. I would suggest that the staff check the bathrooms a bit more regularly.
We have been to more than a few Escape Room venues and this one is by far the worse we have been to. No one was in the front to greet us when we got there. We were they for about 5-10 minutes until someone came out. If there is a story line, we didn't get one that kind of told us what's our purpose. Although it's not necessary to receive a story it does set the tone for the game which we have enjoyed from all the other places we have been to.
There isn't a flow to the clues and some made no sense even after we figured it out. If that room was the first room we were doing we wouldn't have had gotten past the third or fourth clue purely because the hints had nothing to do with the answer of the puzzle. There were a few of the clues that was truly unsolvable, a couple of the numbers were rubbed off to the point were nothing was on the piece the number was supposed to be on, under the black light. That was one example and because of that, it pretty much stopped our progression of our escape.
LOVE the new location! It is huge! The game was so fun and I think it is a great use of time if you are in-town trying to have some fun. The prices are actually pretty cheap too! At least compared to other escape rooms I have been in throughout the country. Good job guys!
My husband and I were planning a date night with a 2 other couples. We didn't want a movie so we decided on Escape Rooms. I am SO glad that we did. Definitely a great date night choice. We thought it would be weird because there were 4 people in our group that we had never met before but it totally wasn't. We all helped and were able to do plenty as a team. It was so much fun. We will definitely be coming back for date nights and recommend it to anyone wanting something different than bowling or movie in the Waco area.
This was our first escape room experience. We did the mastaba room. We only had 3 people and we did not finish in time, but we only needed to do a few things. An extra 5-10 minutes and we would've finished. It would've been nice of them to give us a little more time since we didn't have many people. It also took them awhile to give us the hints. It was still super fun! I loved the creepy aspect of our room.
