Lots of reading, definitely a self-guided tour setting. My kids struggled to stay interested. The collection of information and memorabilia is impressive and I enjoyed seeing the history behind Dr. Pepper, but I would have liked more interaction either with a guide or exhibits.

Lots of reading. Very quaint. Probably not fun for kids. The gift shop is in a separate building. Ball caps were $15.95, reasonable when compared to $26 for Magnolia market right down the street. Parking is free. Be sure to visit the cute market just south of the parking lot.

This review is based on our visit to the soda fountain shop only (because I felt $10 was high for an adult admission and we really just wanted some good Dr. Pepper made with cane sugar). We went during the week, which was a good time to go for minimal crowds.

I am a HUGE fan of Dr Pepper so when I found out our vacation was going to Waco I was instantly thrilled. My older brother and I didn't pay the $10 for adult admission into the main museum part, but we did go to the soda shop side. The demo lady did a fun show about the fizziness in soda, or pop lol, but the salt fizz part didn't work. The 7up and Big Red sections we're cool too. I bought a drawstring backpack style bag for $6, better prices than Magnolia for sure!!

Its a small cute little museum. Great for the whole family. Its a great place to show people origins of American history. I really love the small soda shop in the extra 've of the museum. I personally got a Dr. Pepper float. Dr. Pepper is everything you expect. But the ice cream is amazing!!! I believe the guy behind the counter said it was from a local place. Highly recommend.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed with the fountain Dr. Pepper. It tasted flat (which my husband said was stated in the menu) so if you like fizzy soda, get a bottle or a can. I asked the girl who made it if I could have mine with more fizz and she told me no. I don't like giving this place a negative review, but I hope by reading this someone else might have a better idea of what to expect and have a better experience than I did.
