Shop online -- the deals are better and customer service is exemplary. Customer service at the store is spotty, and they're not always stocked. I haven't been in the store in over a year, but I always shop online every month and am a Platinum member!

I am so flabbergasted after being informed A DAY BEFORE my wedding that Ulta Beauty (Waco) WILL NOT be able to do my hair and makeup. I was informed that the salon knew hours (long before calling me) that not every girl would be able to get their hair and makeup done due to "uncontrolled circumstances". These appointments have been booked months in advance!
Lol these ratings are funny I've been in here 4 times and everyone has been great! The lady in the skin spa is so nice. One of the stylist gave me a quick verbal consultation on the color that I wanted and I'm very satisfied with her response. The cashier are friendly and speak to help you find what you need.
I call bullshit. There is an event that is going on October 9 and I find it odd that all of sudden my appointments cannot be accommodated for.
I can't even rate this a 1 star...
In the end, I cancelled all appointments. There was no concern about (1) why we were cancelling or (2) if there was anything they could try accommodating.
When I told her, we would go ahead and keep the appointments and a lot for 3:00 pm departure from the salon (still giving plenty of time for a 4:00 pm wedding) she acted as if it was a nuisance and responded, “I guess that will be okay.”
I've shopped here many times and unfortunately have always had a bad experience. The customer service is terrible. The employees are often too busy playing with makeup or are all standing behind the registers talking. Every time I've asked for help locating a product I've been treated like it's a major inconvenience. I've been sighed at, ignored, and have had eyes rolled at me. I've also apologized to an employee for bothering her after she located a product for me and she sighed. Customers shouldn't feel bad for asking employees to do their job. They are almost always out of stock of items that the website says they have in stock at this store. Since they've opened I've pointed this out to employees and been told the website is incorrect and you can't trust it which baffles me. As a huge corporation, why haven't they fixed it? I've worked for very small companies who have had very accurate online stock inventory so why can't a huge corporation get it right. Don't waste your time, go to Sephora where they actually have items in stock that they claim to have, treat you with respect, and go out of their way to help you.
I was told that the time it would take to accommodate four hairstyles and three makeup applications, would run over the allotted timeframe we have planned for. I had planned arriving at the venue at start pictures around 2:00 pm. I proceeded to ask the women if we could arrive one hour earlier to start. She said no, they open at 11:00 am and it would be against company policy to open the doors any earlier.
