The kayak rentals are great too. My girlfriend and I rented out first kayak here and loved it. They are so much fun!!!
rude employee ruined my expeirence. i don't usually go out of my way to write reviews but the sales associate i had was extremely rude.
Jeremiah provided excellent bike repair service. After I explained my situation with my old bike, he quickly identified the problem and fixed it at a reasonable cost without trying to up-sell me.
I was impressed with the staff. From the moment w walked in the door they were engaged. Not pushy, but very informative and helpful. Even just causal conversation. They were also informative of the local area - from eats to the “things to do”.

My first dealing with this company will not be my last. I needed a new rear rim for my bicycle. I could have ordered one online but prefer to support local business so I called the few bicycle shops that we have in the Waco area. The Bear Mountain staff that I spoke with were professional and courteous and helped me get what I needed accomplished, and also offered to stay after closing hours due to my work day ending at the same time as theirs. Not only did I get a rim better than expected but I also found a business that still employs people that genuinely care. I'd like to give a big thanks to Louie for getting me and my bicycle back on the road again! I highly recommend The Bear Mountain on great product and stellar customer service.
I purchased a Specialized mountain bike here. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There was an issue after my purchase and they resolved it in a timely and efficient fashion. I would highly recommend this bike shop to anyone.
